Mission Statement

To promote, organise and present an inclusive cultural festival, which embraces, upholds
and supports all cultures and encourages participation by the multicultural communities of the
Fraser Coast.

Objectives: To -

• Value and celebrate all cultures through festivals and artistic expressions in different forms.
• Respect for all cultures, traditions and values, not only in writing but in practice, with particular reference to the original custodians of this country on which the festival is held – the Butchulla
• Encourage participation not only in multicultural activities but also integration in the wider Australian community.
• To provide and share expertise in different cultural activities.
• Provide cultural information and advice including traditional protocols, customs and tradition of different cultures.
• Ensure that membership of the organisation is inclusive and representative of the different communities on the Fraser coast.
• Liaise with departments of government and other relevant groups for an open discussion and dialogues confronting the migrant communities.
• Provide a leadership that is exemplary, cohesive and worthy of emulation not only by our children but by the wider community as well.
